Across the nation, 10,000 freshly inducted Police constables have triumphantly completed their rigorous training programs at various Police Colleges and Training Centers.
Their Passing Out Parade, held simultaneously on October 7, 2025, at all designated training venues, represents a pivotal achievement in the Force’s ongoing mission to bolster its workforce and elevate operational effectiveness in alignment with international policing benchmarks.
In his address to the graduates, Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, praised their dedication and resilience demonstrated throughout the demanding training regimen.
He urged the new officers to uphold the principles of integrity, hard work, and patriotism that were deeply ingrained during their instruction.
According to Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the recruits underwent comprehensive training that incorporated contemporary policing techniques, ethical standards, and hands-on field exercises tailored to equip them for the multifaceted challenges of modern law enforcement.
The program placed strong emphasis on fostering community collaboration, intelligence-driven policing, safeguarding human rights, and exercising authority responsibly-all essential to cultivating professionalism and earning public confidence.
CSP Hundeyin further noted that this cohort’s graduation is a key component of the Force’s strategic manpower enhancement initiative under the current leadership, aimed at expanding security coverage, boosting response capabilities, and strengthening nationwide public safety.
IGP Egbetokun reaffirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s dedication to ongoing professional development, welfare advancement, and institutional reforms designed to preserve the progress of contemporary policing and guarantee a safer environment for every citizen.
