2027: Let’s End APC, PDP Bondage, ADA Urges Nigerians

2027: ADA Calls on Nigerians to Break Free from APC and PDP’s Grip!

The newly established political entity, All Democratic Alliance (ADA), has called on Nigerians to reject the dominance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), emphasizing that the 2027 elections must mark a significant departure from past practices.

Dr. Umar Ardo, the national secretary of ADA, appealed to Nigeria’s influential figures to join their movement, insisting that the country must break free from the prolonged grip imposed by these two major parties.

ADA is one of fifteen political parties recently granted provisional registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Led by Chief Akin A. Ricketts as pro tempore chairman and Dr. Ardo as national secretary, the party operates from its headquarters in Abuja.

The party expressed deep concern that despite Nigeria’s abundant human capital and natural wealth, since the return to democratic governance in 1999, the nation has largely spiraled into economic decline, political turmoil, social fragmentation, violence, and stagnation.

According to the party’s secretary, Nigeria should, by all reasonable measures, be counted among the world’s most advanced and prosperous nations, standing proudly alongside global economic leaders.

Highlighting the widespread issues of poverty, insecurity, hunger, and societal disillusionment, Dr. Ardo attributed these challenges to a corrupt, complacent, and self-serving political elite that has controlled the country for over twenty years.

He remarked, “As the 2027 elections approach, we are witnessing a disheartening repetition of history. The very architects of Nigeria’s current crises-the politicians who have squandered the present and mortgaged the future-are once again vying for power under the familiar banners of APC, PDP, and other established parties. The nation watches, seemingly trapped in a cycle of despair.”

Dr. Ardo underscored that breaking this cycle requires the committed involvement of Nigeria’s patriotic leaders and professionals.

“To the true patriots among us-intellectuals, journalists, business leaders, religious figures, and all conscientious citizens-this is your pivotal moment.

“You must actively engage in the political process. History is observing, and future generations will judge us. Failure to act now equates to complicity in the nation’s decline. Silence is no longer a virtue; it is a betrayal. Indifference is no longer safe; it is cowardice.

“The time has come to unite, to collaborate, and to step forward so that together we can liberate Nigeria from those who exploit her.”

He revealed that many have long been working tirelessly to dismantle this oppressive hold.

“In pursuit of this goal, we have united like-minded patriots nationwide to establish a political platform dedicated to this mission.

“Thus, the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) was born. We are grateful that our efforts have been recognized with provisional approval from INEC.”

Dr. Ardo described ADA not merely as another political party but as a moral revival for the nation-a beacon for every patriotic Nigerian who values truth, justice, service, and sacrifice.

“This is our opportunity to restore democracy and rebuild Nigeria. We urge all patriots to join us under the ADA banner-not only to rescue the country but to enable it to flourish,” he stated.

Emphasizing the urgency of the moment, he warned that Nigeria cannot afford another election cycle wasted on the same failed leadership.

“The 2027 elections must break from the past. The recycled politicians of APC, PDP, and others have lost all moral authority to govern. Their continued rule threatens Nigeria’s very existence.

“However, a new beginning is within reach-if patriotic elites and the youth unite under ADA’s flag. Together, we can ignite a political renaissance founded on justice, innovation, unity, sacrifice, and service. Together, we can uplift our nation,” he concluded.
