Highlighting the administration’s proactive approach to legacy projects in sectors such as health, nutrition, and human capital development, VP Shettima expressed the government’s eagerness to partner with UNICEF and other development agencies. He specifically mentioned flagship programs like the Nutrition 774 Initiative, Economic and Financial Inclusion, and the Nutrition Intervention Fund as areas of focus.
During a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, where he welcomed a UNICEF delegation led by Country Representative Ms. Wafaa Saeed Abdelatef, the Vice President praised President Tinubu’s dedication and visionary leadership. According to a statement from his spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, Shettima underscored the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and comprehensive educational reform, recognizing UNICEF as a vital ally in achieving these objectives.
