PUBG Mobile, the globally acclaimed mobile battle royale sensation, is set to ignite excitement across five premier Nigerian universities with the launch of its innovative Campus Ambassador Campaign starting September 4, 2025. The initiative kicks off with a dynamic on-ground event at the University of Ibadan on September 9, aiming to transform the gaming experience from virtual screens to vibrant campus environments.
Running through September 4 to December 3, 2025, this campaign will energize the campuses of University of Ibadan (UI), University of Benin (UNIBEN), University of Lagos (UNILAG), Lead City University, and University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT). Students will engage in a series of electrifying mini-tournaments, grand competitions, and interactive activities crafted to unite gamers, enthusiasts, and the student body in a shared celebration of PUBG Mobile.
Daily mini-competitions at each university will offer students the chance to showcase their gaming prowess, earn attractive rewards, and build connections with fellow players. The campaign will culminate in a flagship one-day tournament at every campus, fostering a spirited community gathering centered on strategy, skill, and entertainment.
Beyond the thrill of competition, this campaign is designed to cultivate a thriving PUBG Mobile community within Nigeria’s academic institutions by appointing passionate and proactive Campus Ambassadors. These student leaders will represent PUBG Mobile on their campuses, driving engagement and fostering a sense of belonging. Notably, all ambassadors will receive compensation, making this an enriching and rewarding opportunity.
Participants in the ambassador program will gain valuable leadership skills, community-building experience, and the prestige of affiliating with one of the world’s most popular mobile games. Ambassadors will benefit from specialized training and exclusive incentives, empowering them to lead their peers, boost campus participation, and champion the PUBG Mobile brand.
By merging entertainment with community development, PUBG Mobile is redefining campuses as hubs of creativity, interaction, and play. Ambassadors will spearhead grassroots initiatives, nurturing strong bonds among gamers and enhancing the overall campus atmosphere.
Jeff Tang, PUBG Mobile’s Marketing Manager, shared his enthusiasm:
“Nigeria stands out as one of our fastest-growing and most vibrant gaming markets. This campaign is about more than just bringing PUBG Mobile to campuses; it’s about empowering students to build lasting communities.”
He added, “Our ambassadors will be pivotal in this journey, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming the first cohort of leaders who will shape the future of gaming in Nigeria.”
This campaign transcends traditional gaming events by offering a cultural experience filled with side activities, giveaways, and social opportunities that capture the vibrant spirit of Nigerian youth. Whether you’re a seasoned PUBG Mobile veteran, a casual player, or a student eager to connect, these campus events promise engaging experiences for all.

PUBG Mobile continues to be more than a game-it’s a global movement that unites millions through teamwork, competition, and camaraderie.
