This social outing comes after a challenging period for the former Napoli striker, who has been sidelined due to an osimhen-update-frankfurt-fear/” title=”Champions League Alert: Orkan Buruk's … Update Sends Chills to Eintracht Frankfurt!”>ankle injury sustained during Nigeria’s narrow 1-0 victory over Rwanda in a World Cup qualifier on September 6.
Osimhen, formerly of Lille, was forced to leave the pitch midway through the first half following a tackle by Claude Niyomugabo. Subsequent medical scans revealed ligament bruising and internal bleeding in his ankle.
This injury ruled him out of Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with South Africa, Galatasaray’s league victory over Eyupspor, and notably, the Turkish champions’ heavy 5-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in their Champions League opener.

Before his injury, Osimhen had been in impressive form since joining Galatasaray from Napoli for €75 million during the summer transfer window. He scored twice in his opening three league matches and found the net against Rwanda in Uyo, although that goal was disallowed for offside prior to his substitution.
Galatasaray announced over the weekend that their record signing has recommenced partial individual and team training sessions. This development suggests Osimhen could be available for the upcoming Süper Lig clashes against Konyaspor and Alanyaspor.

However, the primary focus is on the September 30 showdown when Arne Slot’s Liverpool side visits Rams Park-a fixture that could be pivotal for Galatasaray’s Champions League aspirations.
The club is well aware of the importance of having their star striker in top form. Last season, Osimhen delivered an outstanding performance with 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, statistics that justified Galatasaray’s record-breaking investment to secure his services from Napoli.
While fans may enjoy seeing Osimhen mingle with Evra and Adekunle Gold, the true concern for Galatasaray supporters remains his fitness and readiness to spearhead the team’s attack in the crucial matches ahead.
