Prominent entrepreneur and diplomat, Ambassador Kinze Isaac Okonkwo, has expressed that the extensive experience of the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has thoroughly equipped him to steer Ibadan land toward a future marked by harmony, unity, and growth.
Okonkwo characterized the forthcoming installation of Oba Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land, set for September 26, 2025, as a momentous and divinely inspired milestone for the people of Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
In his congratulatory message, Okonkwo celebrated Oba Ladoja’s rise as a significant and inspiring event, embodying the aspirations of the community and symbolizing the continuation of a proud legacy.
He highlighted that Oba Ladoja’s diverse background-as a chemical engineer, former senator, governor, statesman, and cultural guardian-uniquely positions him to lead Ibadanland into an era defined by peace, solidarity, and prosperity.

“Throughout your distinguished career in public service-as a Senator and Governor of Oyo State-you have consistently embodied these qualities. Now, as the 44th Olubadan, you represent a beacon of unity, advancement, and cultural rejuvenation,” he remarked.
Okonkwo also underscored the distinctiveness of the Olubadan throne, celebrated not only for its honor but also for its well-structured and peaceful succession tradition.
