Ogbu Confirmed Out by Slavia Coach
Jindrich Trpisovsky, the head coach of Slavia Prague, has officially announced that the Nigerian defender will not be part of the squad for the Champions League clash.
“Everyone fit and registered for the Champions League will be traveling,” the 49-year-old coach told Efotbal.
“Losing Ogbu and Tomas Holeš is a significant setback, but promising talents like Tomáš Vlček, David Zima, and Štěpán Chaloupek have demonstrated they can step up and fill those roles effectively.”
“We recently dealt with a virus issue, which we believe is now behind us and won’t impact the team moving forward.”

The two clubs last faced off in September 2019, ending in a 1-1 draw at the Giuseppe Meazza, and Slavia’s assistant coach is optimistic about improving on that result this time around.
“I hope to look back on this match with fond memories and a better outcome than our previous game against AC Milan,” said Zdeněk Houštecký.
“Inter boasts passionate supporters, and last time, many of our fans traveled to support us. I expect the atmosphere to be electric again, which should inspire us to a positive result.”
“This will be our third trip to Milan, having previously played Inter and AC Milan. Our 1-1 draw with Inter six years ago was a bit unfortunate, and the match against AC was marred by a red card. We’re hopeful that this third encounter will bring better fortune.”
Slavia Prague enters this fixture in impressive form, remaining unbeaten in their last 13 matches across all competitions. Meanwhile, Inter Milan has experienced two defeats in their previous five outings.
