Victor Prince Dickson, widely recognized as The Transformer and Visioneer behind the National Cake Game, has introduced an ambitious initiative named Project GIANT-an acronym for ‘Generations Inspired, Awaken for a Better Tomorrow.’
This visionary, cross-generational movement seeks to rejuvenate Nigeria by drawing strength from its rich history, cultural heritage, and a shared sense of duty among its people.
During the exclusive launch event of the National Cake Game in Abuja, Dickson highlighted the critical juncture at which Nigeria currently stands.
“Nigeria is not merely facing a challenge; it is at a pivotal crossroads. If we fail to recognize the gravity of this moment, the nation risks unraveling imminently,” he cautioned.
He stressed the perils of unresolved societal conflicts, explaining, “When tensions escalate unchecked within the human psyche, crises are inevitable. Without proper management, these crises spiral into chaos. To prevent disorder, we must first address the root conflicts.”
According to Dickson, the absence of a cohesive national vision has long hindered Nigeria’s progress.
“Ask any Nigerian about the Nigerian dream, and you’ll find a lack of consensus. This void stems from a disconnect with our own history-that’s the fundamental issue,” he remarked.
To bridge this gap, Dickson launched the National Cake Game through his company, Alpha Kulture. This innovative board game encapsulates 160 pivotal historical milestones and policies that have shaped Nigeria up to 2025, while also forecasting 40 potential scenarios extending to 2075. Designed as an engaging, interactive experience, it encourages learning among youth, families, and educational institutions alike.
“Instead of traditional lectures or seminars on nation-building, this game brings the conversation directly into homes, enabling peer-to-peer learning among young people, as well as family and school engagement,” Dickson explained.
The National Cake Game is part of a broader ecosystem that includes the National Oven-an online community platform-the Nigerian Dream Magazine, and the National Cake Championship, all aimed at fostering national consciousness.
Emphasizing the power of intergenerational cooperation, Dickson stated, “The wisdom of elders, the vigor of youth, and the potential of emerging generations must unite. Together, these forces can construct a stronger Nigeria.”
Pastor Ketandu Oje, a distinguished guest at the event, lauded the project’s unifying vision.
“The phrase ‘national cake’ often conjures images of division and self-interest. However, this initiative reclaims that narrative, promoting a vision of unity and shared purpose,” he observed.
He further noted that the game’s comprehensive historical content has the potential to “engage all Nigerians and cultivate a spirit of national solidarity.”
Oluwatobi Olabode, a key member of the National Cake team, introduced Alpha Kulture as a pioneering force transforming cultural dynamics through gamification.
“Alpha Kulture is an innovative enterprise committed to reshaping the foundations of society-culture, mindset, identity, and language-by leveraging the strategic power of games. Through gamification, we can effectively influence culture, reinforce identity, and drive meaningful change,” he stated.
Looking ahead, Dickson shared ambitious targets for widespread adoption of the project.
“Within two years, we aim to have the National Cake Game in 1,000 schools and 50,000 households. This is our goal, and we invite partners to join us in advancing this vision,” he urged.
He appealed to both governmental bodies and private sector stakeholders to incorporate the initiative into Nigeria’s educational and cultural frameworks.
“History is resurging, but the question remains: which resources are we using to teach it? This game offers a fresh, effective tool to educate Nigerians about their past. Visionaries recognize this as a solution to many of the country’s challenges,” Dickson concluded.
Founded by Victor Prince Dickson, Alpha Kulture blends elements of play, design, and psychology to drive cultural innovation. Its mission is to inspire nations toward progress, justice, ethical excellence, and creativity by harnessing gamification to transform mindsets, redefine identities, and rewrite collective narratives.
