Renowned multi-platinum hip-hop artist Gunna is gearing up to headline the highly anticipated Milk + Cookies Music Week South Africa 2026, bringing his dynamic sound to the stages of Cape Town and Johannesburg. This Atlanta-rooted music collective, established by four Morehouse College graduates, is making a triumphant return following a remarkable inaugural event in 2025, which featured Kaytranada and attracted an audience of 20,000. Spanning 21 days from 24 December 2025 to 14 January 2026, the festival is a vibrant celebration of music, innovation, and community, spotlighting the rich cultural tapestry of South Africa.
Gunna, celebrated for chart-toppers like Drip Too Hard and Push Up, will light up the stage at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town on Saturday, 3 January 2026, and later at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg on Saturday, 10 January 2026. Sharing the spotlight will be South African luminaries DJ Kent in Johannesburg and Vigro Deep in Cape Town, both of whom expertly blend global hip-hop influences with the infectious rhythms of amapiano and house music, underscoring South Africa’s growing imprint on the international music scene.
