Seyi Amao’s groundbreaking Emotional Appetite Therapy has sparked a transformative movement focused on women’s health, showcased at a heartfelt pre-launch gathering in Lagos.

Under the theme “Come Hungry, Leave Whole,” this intimate occasion united Seyi Amao-award-winning author and founder of PCOS Conquerors-with health advocates, medical professionals, and community collaborators. Together, they celebrated a comprehensive approach to wellness, especially for women managing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and related health issues, weaving together narratives, scientific knowledge, and spirituality in a memorable evening.

Deborah Oguike, popularly known as “Debbie The Media Girl,” hosted the event, which was a joint effort by One Wellness Clinic and PCOS Conquerors, supported by ProSkin Aesthetic Clinic, Adam Scents, Sissy Remi, Tsemaye Binitie, BB Artistry, and Orange Mic. Their combined efforts created an atmosphere that embodied the essence of Amao’s book-a movement encouraging women to transcend emotional cravings and embrace holistic nourishment.

More than just a publication, Amao presented Emotional Appetite Therapy as a transformative journey toward complete well-being. The evening was thoughtfully designed to blend expert perspectives, heartfelt testimonials, and immersive experiences.

Attendees were inspired by a moving testimony from Dr. Elizabeth “Dr. Fabulous” Falabi, medical director at Feet2Fit Integrative Health & Wellness, who candidly shared her personal path to health.

A dynamic panel discussion, led by Sophia O. Emifoniye, CEO of Brunch Avenue, featured insights from Dr. Jean Nassar, Pamela Bazi of One Wellness, and Hala El Hachem of ProSkin. They explored vital subjects such as fertility, nutrition, and holistic health strategies.

The event also underscored the vital link between financial stability and physical health, with Mrs. Joke Adu from Standard Chartered Bank highlighting how economic empowerment plays a crucial role in overall wellness.

Concluding the evening, Pastor Moses Ida-Michaels of EcclesiaHills offered a blessing, framing the event as the beginning of a larger initiative dedicated to advancing women’s health.
