Project Victory Call Initiative (PVC-Naija), a non-governmental organization focused on political advocacy and civic education, is preparing to evaluate the effectiveness of governance under Nigeria’s current political leadership.
This evaluation will specifically examine the performance of key figures such as President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, among others.
According to a statement from the organization’s president, Paula Bellgam, PVC-Naija is committed to reimagining Nigeria’s political landscape by transforming leadership and governance models.
“Our mission is to bridge divides, foster national unity, and empower citizens to actively participate in nation-building. We envision a Nigeria led by accountable, transparent, and responsible leaders, supported by an engaged and informed populace,” the statement emphasized.
“We aim to educate Nigerians about their political duties and promote the rise of credible leaders who will ensure accountable governance. Key objectives include establishing direct communication channels with voters who desire meaningful change,” it added.
“We strive to position citizens as influential stakeholders in Nigeria’s political framework and to champion electoral outcomes that uphold the principles of a government truly by the people, for the people,” the statement concluded.
Additionally, PVC-Naija announced that “Night 4 Naija,” a prestigious national awards ceremony recognizing outstanding leaders, advocates, and change-makers contributing to Nigeria’s democratic progress and development, will take place in Abuja on December 14.
