Imisi, the champion of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has opened up about the complex emotional dynamics that unfolded on the reality show, revealing that Kaybobo’s animosity towards Faith stemmed from his own feelings for her.
In an exclusive interview with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Monday, the winner of the N150 million grand prize suggested that jealousy played a significant role in the strained relationship between the three housemates.
“Kaybobo didn’t like Faith because I had feelings for her,” Imisi confessed.
“That’s just how Kaybobo is-whenever he knows I’m interested in someone, he tends to target them. He would say things like, ‘You said he speaks well, look at how you’re staring at his lips-Faith and Kola.'”
When Ebuka probed whether she thought Kaybobo had romantic feelings for her, Imisi was quick to agree.
“I believe he does, because I could tell by the way he looks at me,” she explained.
It’s worth noting that Faith, who was removed from the show for breaking Biggie’s rules, often clashed with Imisi throughout the season. Many viewers criticized Faith for what they perceived as bullying behavior towards Imisi.
