Our First Encounter
Shared by the bride, Orobosa:
It was December 20th, 2021, when I first crossed paths with Osagu. I had accompanied my sister to his studio to photograph my nephew’s birthday celebration. Honestly, I was hesitant to go since I had just returned home from school for the Christmas break and preferred to relax. However, the moment we arrived, our eyes met, and an undeniable spark ignited between us. There was something about him that intrigued me deeply. A few months later, in March, I reached out to schedule a birthday photoshoot for myself. After the session, we parted ways, but I kept noticing missed calls from an unknown number. I often forgot to return the calls until one day, I finally answered. To my surprise, it was Osagu on the line. From that conversation onward, we stayed in touch, carefully nurturing our connection for an entire year as I took time to be certain. We officially began dating in 2023 and joyfully married in 2025. It’s been an incredible journey!
Orobosa and Osagu’s wedding was a breathtaking blend of elegance and tradition. Their white wedding ceremony was followed by a colorful Edo-Yoruba traditional celebration, showcasing the beauty of their cultural heritage. Each photograph from these events captures the joy, love, and timeless customs that made their day unforgettable.
