General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, has called on the residents of Kagarko and Southern Kaduna to work hand in hand with security forces to preserve harmony in the region.
Speaking through his personal adviser, Musa Likita, the CDS praised the people of Kagarko for their longstanding reputation as a peaceful community.
He also drew attention to key development initiatives benefiting Kagarko, such as the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, the Federal Medical Center in Kafanchan, and the Defense Farm located at Guarara Dam.
General Musa stressed that fostering peaceful relations is essential to honoring the efforts and goodwill extended by both state and federal governments.
During an expanded security meeting at the Kagarko Local Government Secretariat, local leaders reiterated their dedication to maintaining the unity and tranquility currently enjoyed in Southern Kaduna.
The attendees underscored that living in peace is deeply embedded in their culture, and they vowed to actively prevent any individual or faction from disrupting the longstanding brotherly bonds that have united their communities for generations.
