Among the significant initiatives underway are the establishment of the new Edo State College of Nursing and Health Sciences Technology at Udomi, alongside the development of the Uromi-Onewa-Udomi-Ibhiolulu-Afuda-Idumoza-Eko-Owaya-Ewora Road. This vital roadway aims to improve connectivity and stimulate economic growth throughout the region.
During an on-site evaluation, Governor Okpebholo expressed his approval of the progress and quality of the construction efforts to date.
He commended the construction companies, Mutual Commitment Co. Ltd and Setraco Nigeria Limited, for their commitment to excellence and adherence to project deadlines.
Accompanied by senior government officials and aides, the governor toured the project locations, receiving detailed updates from the engineers on completed milestones and upcoming phases.
Highlighting the alignment of these projects with his administration’s goals, Governor Okpebholo emphasized their role in enhancing healthcare services, educational opportunities, and infrastructure development across Edo State.
He stated, “Our administration is focused on delivering impactful, high-quality projects that will improve the well-being of our citizens. The progress I have witnessed today is truly encouraging.”
Additionally, he reassured the people of Esan Central that continuous oversight would be maintained to guarantee the projects’ timely completion and long-lasting benefits.
