Following two years of intense conflict between Israel and Hamas, a ceasefire agreement has largely been maintained. The initial stage of this truce, facilitated by President Trump, involved Israeli troops retreating to predetermined boundaries within Gaza. Concurrently, nearly 2,000 Palestinians were released from Israeli incarceration in return for the liberation of the 20 remaining Israeli hostages held by Hamas, along with the repatriation of several deceased hostages’ remains.

The following images capture moments from recent days where families on both sides reunited, humanitarian aid began to flow into the Gaza Strip, and displaced Palestinians started to return to the remnants of their homes.
