The Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) has revealed the distinguished finalists for the 2025 AWIEF Awards.
As a highlight of the annual AWIEF Conference, these awards honor exceptional women entrepreneurs and business pioneers from across Africa. The initiative aims to recognize those who are pioneering innovation, establishing impactful enterprises, promoting gender parity, and driving Africa’s inclusive economic progress and sustainable future.
“The AWIEF Awards serve as a vital platform to celebrate women whose creativity, determination, and leadership are molding Africa’s tomorrow,” stated Irene Ochem, Founder and CEO of AWIEF. “Our 2025 finalists truly represent the transformative influence women entrepreneurs have in fostering a more equitable, sustainable, and thriving continent.”
This year’s nominees were carefully chosen by a global panel of experts from a competitive array of candidates spanning multiple industries, including technology, agriculture, renewable energy, creative sectors, and social ventures.
