Brighton and Hove Albion Women made a remarkable impression at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony held at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, as reported by Soccernet.ng.
The Women’s Super League outfit proudly celebrated the nominations of two of their standout players for the esteemed Women’s Awards: England’s Michelle Agyemang and Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie.
Both players were pivotal in their countries’ continental victories. Agyemang played a key role in England’s triumph in Switzerland, where she was honored as the young player of the tournament.

On the other hand, Nnadozie was a defensive stalwart for Nigeria’s Super Falcons, securing four clean sheets across six matches as they lifted their tenth WAFCON crown. Her stellar goalkeeping earned her the title of goalkeeper of the tournament.
Following their international successes, Agyemang was shortlisted for the Women’s Kopa Trophy, while Nnadozie received a nomination for the Women’s Yacine Trophy.
In the Yacine Trophy standings, Nnadozie achieved an impressive 4th place, outpacing Daphne Van Domselaar but trailing behind Hannah Hampton, Cata Coll, and Ann-Katrin Berger.
Meanwhile, Agyemang also secured 4th place in the Women’s Kopa Trophy rankings, finishing ahead of Claudia Martinez Ovando.

Brighton’s Manager Commends Nnadozie’s Achievements
Dario Vidosic, the head coach of Brighton and Hove Albion Women, expressed his deep pride in having two of his players recognized at such a prestigious occasion.
