Capitalfield Investment Group Marks 22 Years with Impactful CSR Initiative on Sustainable Energy
Since its establishment in 2003, Capitalfield Investment Group (CIGL) has evolved into a prominent conglomerate delivering a broad spectrum of financial and non-financial services across Nigeria. Celebrating over two decades of unwavering commitment, CIGL continues to drive economic progress while prioritizing value creation for its diverse clientele.
Empowering Communities Through Renewable Energy
In honor of its 22nd anniversary, Capitalfield has launched a community-focused Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure through sustainable energy solutions. The company installed advanced solar power systems at two critical healthcare facilities: Professor Shaffdeen Adeniyi Primary Healthcare Centre in Lagos Island East LCDA and Oriyanrin Primary Healthcare Centre in Iru Victoria Island LCDA.

These solar installations are designed to guarantee continuous power supply for essential medical services, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and supporting environmental sustainability. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 7, which advocates for affordable and clean energy worldwide. Under the theme “Powering Health, Empowering Communities,” Capitalfield underscores its dedication to social impact and sustainable development.
Supporting Maternal Health and Community Well-being
Beyond energy solutions, Capitalfield extended its support to maternal health by distributing maternity care packages to expectant mothers at the beneficiary centres. This gesture aims to provide comfort and encouragement during a pivotal phase of their lives, reinforcing the company’s holistic approach to community welfare.

Raphael Lewu, Group Managing Director of Capitalfield Investment Group, remarked:
“Over the past 22 years, our growth has been anchored in a vision that transcends business success. This anniversary is a powerful reminder of our responsibility to create lasting, positive change. By equipping health centres with renewable energy, we are not only enhancing healthcare delivery in underserved areas but also advancing our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals and supporting the global transition to clean energy.”
Diversification and Future Growth Prospects
Capitalfield’s footprint extends beyond financial services into sectors such as energy, mining, and agriculture through its subsidiaries-Capitalfield Energy and Allied Services Limited, Roots Mining Co., and Seedland Agro-Allied Ltd. The group remains proactive in identifying new market opportunities, reinforcing its role as a catalyst for Nigeria’s economic development.
