Case Radar, a pioneering Nigerian legal technology platform, has unveiled a significant enhancement to its AI-driven system, enabling it to access and update legal documents from jurisdictions beyond Nigeria automatically. This advancement aims to broaden the AI’s scope and enrich the information available to its users.
What sets Case Radar apart is its integration of artificial intelligence specifically trained on Nigerian legal frameworks. As Africa’s first generative AI platform dedicated to legal tech, the startup guarantees dependable and precise legal insights tailored to its audience.
Agbo Obinnaya, CEO and Co-founder, explained that this upgrade was inspired by user feedback and the necessity to elevate the AI’s capabilities. The enhanced system now autonomously refreshes its database and taps into external online resources to gather information beyond its original dataset.
Since its inception a year ago, Case Radar has established itself as a trusted resource for legal interpretation. The platform’s mission is to close the knowledge gap between everyday individuals and the legal system, while also supporting early-career lawyers in advancing their professional skills.

Agbo highlighted that the AI chatbot’s new capability allows it to respond to inquiries that extend beyond Nigerian law. This means the platform can now merge localized expertise with comprehensive external data and maintain dynamic adaptability.
“We expanded our system to overcome the limitations of a confined dataset. Now, it can update itself automatically and access the internet. This upgrade marks a step toward transcending the Nigerian legal framework, though we are progressing cautiously,” he shared with Technext.
Case Radar’s commitment to making legal documents more accessible and affordable is further strengthened by this update. The AI’s ability to retrieve verified legal information online ensures users receive accurate and timely data even when queries fall outside its primary repository.
Moreover, this enhancement enables the platform to stay current with evolving legal landscapes, offering relevant and secure information to individuals, students, and legal professionals alike.

Case Radar’s Strategic Vision for Growth Beyond Nigeria
Although Nigeria remains the company’s primary market, founders Agbo Obinnaya and Ngwu AnthonyMark envision extending Case Radar’s reach across Africa and eventually to a global audience. Their approach to expansion is deliberate and methodical.

Establishing a robust foundation within Nigeria is critical before venturing into other African legal markets. Building trust and a strong user base domestically is a prerequisite to integrating legal content from neighboring countries.
“Our priority is to solidify our presence in Nigeria before considering expansion,” Agbo emphasized in his conversation with Technext.
He also clarified that the recent AI upgrade does not imply immediate service availability outside Nigeria. Instead, it is a preparatory step that will facilitate future growth.
“We are concurrently developing a gaming application aimed at a worldwide audience, expected to launch by January 2026. This initiative will complement our platform’s expansion to international users,” he added.
User feedback has been instrumental in shaping Case Radar’s continuous improvements, underscoring the platform’s dedication to delivering a seamless and user-centric experience.

By July 2025, Case Radar had attracted over 2,000 users and digitized more than 10,000 court documents previously unavailable online. The platform serves as a vital resource for both novice and seasoned lawyers, facilitating legal document interpretation and connecting users with legal professionals within a single ecosystem.
