Afrobeats sensation Davido has unveiled the Nigerian segment of his eagerly awaited 5ive Tour, set to captivate audiences across five states from October through December 2025.
Sharing the news on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the internationally acclaimed artist announced that the tour will commence in Akwa Ibom on October 26, followed by stops in Adamawa on October 29, Enugu on November 1, and Ibadan on November 9, culminating in a spectacular finale in Lagos on December 25, Christmas Day.
Reflecting on the significance of performing on home soil, Davido expressed, “I’m fortunate to perform worldwide, and wherever I go, Nigeria is with me. This time, I’m bringing that energy back home. After an incredible North American tour, it feels right to celebrate where it all started.”
The award-winning artist emphasized the tour’s intimate nature, describing it as a tribute to Nigerian heritage and pride.
“5ive Tour Nigeria, are you ready? This one’s for our culture. This one’s personal. This one’s for us,” he declared.
This announcement marks Davido’s first extensive multi-city tour within Nigeria in recent years, following his sold-out Timeless Concert at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on April 25, 2023, and a major stadium show in Abuja later that year.
Since the announcement, fans have flooded social media with excitement, eagerly awaiting the dynamic performances and vibrant stage presence that Davido is renowned for.
As the tour approaches, the “Unavailable” hitmaker has promised a unique homecoming experience, celebrating his artistic journey, loyal supporters, and the worldwide ascent of Afrobeats music.
