The newly launched Digital Xperience Centre is a state-of-the-art, fully automated facility designed to offer a paperless, smooth, and self-service banking experience. Customers can carry out a variety of transactions-from instant account creation to cash deposits and withdrawals-using intelligent automated systems available around the clock, seven days a week.
At the unveiling event, Olusegun Alebiosu, Group Chief Executive Officer, emphasized, “Our vision at FirstBank is firmly rooted in digital transformation. Alebiosu detailed that FirstBank now utilizes a three-layer security verification process combining account information, biometric data, and mobile phone authentication to identify suspicious activities and safeguard customers against fraud in real time.

Currently, six other Digital Xperience Centres operate in Lagos, Ibadan, Nsukka, and Abuja, with plans underway to open the eighth in Kano, alongside additional centres in Benin and various university campuses nationwide.
Idris Ado Ibrahim, Group Executive of Retail Banking North Division at FirstBank, highlighted that this initiative is set to boost operational efficiency, reduce customer wait times, and elevate overall satisfaction.
He added, “Our strategy is to extend this concept to bustling urban locations nationwide. Wherever there is significant transaction activity and demand for round-the-clock service, we aim to bring the Digital Xperience Centre closer to the people.”
