Joining Edoho to energize the event is acclaimed brand influencer Tomike Adeoye, who will serve as co-host, adding a dynamic flair to the ceremony.
After two successful editions held in Jacksonville, Florida-where the focus was on honoring Africans and African-Americans making significant contributions to the Black community in the U.S.-the MOI Awards returns to its African origins. This event stands as a leading platform dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements, celebrating visionary leaders, and fostering connections between entrepreneurs, innovators, and change agents from Africa and the global Black diaspora.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Frank Edoho shared, “Hosting this distinguished event is a tremendous honor. I am eager to deliver an unforgettable experience for all attendees. This is the premier business stage, and I urge CEOs and founders to ensure their presence.”
The 2025 ceremony, themed ‘Trailblazers of a Rising Continent’, will showcase 18 competitive award categories alongside a special honorary award. It highlights exceptional accomplishments across sectors such as finance, energy, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), technology, entertainment, and governance. Esteemed honorary recipients include Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, and Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State.
Adding an international dimension, keynote speaker Wyman Winbush-a former IBM program manager, U.S. Navy veteran, and globally recognized mentor known as “The Wisdom Broker”-will share valuable perspectives on leadership, innovation, and transformative impact.
“Our mission in creating this platform is to honor true excellence-not for mere recognition, but to celebrate meaningful influence,” stated Ethelbert Nwanegbo, founder of the MOI Awards. “If you are a builder, investor, or leader within Africa, November 29 is your moment to shine.”
