During the recent international break, Fulham’s key players Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze, and Alex Iwobi represented Nigeria’s Super Eagles on the global stage…
Fulham’s manager, Marco Silva, has disclosed that winger Samuel Chukwueze is uncertain to feature in tonight’s match against Arsenal, according to Soccernet.ng.
Since his summer loan move from AC Milan, the 26-year-old has clocked just 63 minutes on the pitch for the Cottagers.
Although Chukwueze did not take part in the game against Lesotho, he contributed 45 minutes in Nigeria’s commanding 4-0 victory over Benin, assisting Victor Osimhen twice.

However, immediately after halftime, the former Villarreal winger grimaced in pain, clutching his heavily bandaged calf muscle.
Nigeria’s coach Eric Chelle decided to substitute Chukwueze, bringing on Olakunle Olasegun to replace him.

Although Chukwueze participated in the recovery session alongside teammates Bassey and Iwobi on Thursday, Silva expressed doubts about the Nigerian’s availability for the upcoming fixture, along with other internationals returning from duty.
Saša Lukić, Rodrigo Muniz, and Antonee Robinson have been confirmed out, while Samuel Chukwueze, Raúl Jiménez, and Kenny Tete remain questionable for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.
“This is the situation we face, and it’s beyond our control,” Silva stated during his pre-match press conference when asked about the absence of several key players.

“Our medical and rehabilitation teams are working tirelessly to get these players back as soon as possible because their presence is vital.
“Having a full squad definitely strengthens us. Missing key players-not just one or two-means we’re not at our peak. But that won’t serve as an excuse. We must push forward and face the challenge.
“Take Robinson, for example; his influence over the past few seasons has been immense in every facet of the game,” Silva added, reflecting on the impact of absent players.
