In an emotional interview with Daily Trust, Fatima’s mother, Malama Madina Inuwa Makwalla, recounted the final moments she spent with her daughter. “That Saturday evening, we were preparing to visit a relative hospitalized nearby. Fatima asked to use the restroom and said she would join us shortly. Little did I know that was the last time I would see her alive,” she tearfully shared.
