The Kano State Police Command has successfully apprehended a suspect connected to the abduction of Alhaji Abdulmumini Mudi Zakari, the village head of Garun Babba, an incident that took place three years ago. On August 9, 2022, the village head was kidnapped and robbed of N2.75 million, along with his mobile phone and wristwatch.

Following the report, a joint task force comprising officers from the Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit and the Garun Mallam Divisional Police promptly launched an operation to track down the culprits.
