Debo Adebayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, a prominent Nigerian actor and social advocate, has once again paid homage to the victims of the Lekki Toll Gate shooting as the nation observes the fifth anniversary of the #EndSARS protests.

Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, the comedian reflected on the immense pain endured by Nigerian youths who sacrificed their lives, careers, families, and aspirations in the battle against police brutality and corruption.

He stated:

“Our young Nigerians have been robbed of their lives, livelihoods, families, and hopes by the hands of the most corrupt and malevolent leaders we call our rulers! Despite some being infatuated with their oppressors, the events of 20/10/2020 must never fade from memory nor be forgiven!”

His message was accompanied by a striking image from the 2020 demonstrations and the iconic track “Unknown Soldier” by Fela Kuti, reigniting the spirit of the nationwide calls for justice and reform.

The situation escalated after a video circulated online showing the actress visibly distressed, expressing her pain over the turmoil in her marriage. In the footage, Regina is heard saying,

“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am treated like nothing, but in my own home, I am a queen. I cannot endure the violence; it’s overwhelming.”

Film producer Stanley On-Top, who posted the video, claimed that hired assailants allegedly linked to the senator attacked Regina, but her brothers intervened to protect her.

Insiders reveal that for her safety, Regina has since moved in with relatives, distancing herself from the marital residence.

Neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Ned Nwoko has made any official statements regarding these accusations. The incident has sparked significant concern and discussion across social media platforms, with many calling on authorities to investigate and safeguard the actress’s welfare.
