At the debut of the IFA 2025 Innovation Awards, LG Electronics stood out prominently, securing an impressive total of 17 accolades across diverse categories. Among these honors was the prestigious Best of IFA award. This newly established awards program aims to celebrate outstanding achievements in innovation, technology, design, and market impact, attracting entries from over 1,800 global companies.
The awards spanned 16 distinct categories, including mobility, home appliances, home entertainment, design, and smart home technologies. Top distinctions such as Best of IFA, Best Tech Innovation, and Best Brand were reserved for entries that demonstrated significant influence within the industry.
A standout product was the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV, acclaimed as the world’s first wireless transparent television. This groundbreaking device earned both the Best of IFA and Best in Home Entertainment awards, quickly becoming one of the most discussed innovations at the event.
In addition to these headline awards, LG garnered five Category Best awards and 11 Honoree recognitions, showcasing its extensive reach across both emerging and established technology sectors.
Within the mobility segment, the Spielraum concept was honored as the best in mobility. This innovative design features a compact, AI-enhanced cabin that integrates smart appliances with immersive sensory elements, opening new avenues for mobile living experiences.
In the realm of accessibility, LG’s Comfort Kit was recognized for its thoughtful design that caters to a broad spectrum of ages and abilities, highlighting the growing emphasis on inclusive technology solutions.
For home appliances, LG’s AI Sense Clean dishwasher and microplastic filter received top honors. These products are engineered to enhance cleaning efficiency through smart wash cycles while addressing environmental sustainability, reflecting the brand’s commitment to eco-friendly innovation.
LG also earned category honoree status for a range of laundry and cleaning devices, including the LG Wash Tower, heat pump washer and dryer, robot vacuum with an integrated station, and a versatile wet/dry stick vacuum cleaner. Each product was praised for its design sophistication, automation capabilities, and user-centric features.
Four additional LG products were celebrated in the design category for their seamless blend of style and functionality: the washer and tumble dryer duo, TrueSteam™ dishwasher, Next LG massage recliner, and LG Styler Mini.
In the Smart Home category, the Vacuum with Objet Station stood out for its AI-driven scheduling, automatic docking, and compatibility with connected home ecosystems via LG ThinQ.
Within Home Entertainment, the Wireless OLED TV (M5) and LG StanbyME 2 received honorable mentions, reinforcing LG’s leadership in display technology innovation at the event.
