Nollywood star Lizzy Anjorin has responded to her fellow actress Iyabo Ojo’s threat of legal action amid their escalating dispute.
Sources reveal that Iyabo Ojo has confided in friends about her intention to sue Lizzy Anjorin for repeatedly directing harmful wishes, including death curses, towards her children and newborn grandson.
In a heartfelt message posted on her verified Instagram account while in Tanzania caring for her grandson, Iyabo addressed the barrage of posts Lizzy has made targeting her family.
She expressed, “Honestly, it’s been a while since something made me laugh this much. These videos truly cracked me up.”
“On a serious note, I’ve noticed the flood of messages, DMs, voice notes, and inquiries about why I’ve remained silent in the face of the defamatory remarks, insults, and death wishes Lizzy Anjorin has hurled at my family, especially my grandson. Truthfully, it’s often a challenge to stay calm, but I choose to rise above the distractions. Blessings from God cannot be undone by curses.”

“To clarify, my legal team is fully engaged and documenting every incident. Wisdom lies in heeding expert advice, and I am preparing for what lies ahead with patience and strategy.”
“These past months, my priority has been my family-welcoming my grandson, supporting my daughter through motherhood, and providing both physical and spiritual support. This focus has required my full attention while my legal advisors gather evidence.”
“Once I return to Lagos, God willing, I will confront these challenges head-on. Silence can be a powerful tool, and though it’s difficult for me, I recognize its necessity at times. I appreciate your love and concern. Stay wonderful, and I promise to keep you informed when the moment is right. God bless you all.”
In contrast, Lizzy Anjorin dismissed Iyabo’s lawsuit threat, standing firm on her actions against Iyabo’s children and grandson.
Lizzy accused Iyabo of igniting the conflict by reacting with laughing emojis to a social media post announcing her death, implying that Iyabo’s behavior provoked the ongoing feud.
