Scheduled from December 1st to 4th, 2025, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, this year’s forum carries the theme: ‘Securing Investments, Strengthening Local Content, and Scaling Energy Production.’
The event will focus on three pivotal industry challenges: attracting the substantial investment capital necessary for transformative growth, ensuring that the economic benefits of these investments remain within Nigeria, and boosting energy output in a manner that generates enduring employment, facilitates significant technology transfer, and cultivates homegrown industrial capabilities capable of competing on the global stage.
For over thirteen years, the PNC Forum has established itself as the premier venue for meaningful dialogue on advancing Nigerian Content development.
It consistently draws ministers, CEOs, policymakers, and sector specialists who collaborate to synchronize strategies, highlight achievements, and develop actionable solutions tailored to Nigeria’s dynamic energy sector.
Wemimo Oyelana, Portfolio Director for Africa and Country Director for Nigeria at dmg events, emphasized the importance of this year’s gathering: “The sector is experiencing a remarkable transformation. Indigenous firms are taking on greater operational roles, while government initiatives focusing on local involvement and gas sector expansion are reshaping investment opportunities. PNC 2025 will serve as a vital forum to discuss effective approaches for attracting investment, enhancing local expertise, and maintaining Nigeria’s central role in value creation within its energy industry.”
Oyelana also highlighted that the forum will feature keynote speeches from high-ranking government representatives, engaging panel discussions with industry pioneers, and an exhibition spotlighting Nigerian service companies pioneering innovation across upstream, midstream, and emerging gas sectors. Real-world case studies will demonstrate successful local content initiatives in areas such as fabrication, offshore engineering, gas processing, and the integration of digital technologies.
Looking forward, Oyelana noted that PNC 2025 offers a timely platform for stakeholders to review nearly 15 years of progress since the enactment of the NOGICD Act. The forum will provide an opportunity to evaluate accomplishments, address ongoing challenges, and map out an ambitious strategy for an inclusive, investment-led, and sustainable energy future.
