Renowned singer Iyanya has called on fans and the general public to extend greater understanding and kindness toward celebrities, particularly men, who endure significant pressure from constant public attention.
Sharing his thoughts on X, Iyanya reminded everyone that behind the glitz and glamour, celebrities are individuals with feelings and personal hardships.
“It’s important to recognize that celebrities are human beings with emotions and struggles just like anyone else. Beneath the media’s polished portrayal lies a person longing to be treated with humanity,” he expressed.
“Male celebrities often face an added layer of difficulty when recovering from setbacks because societal expectations push men to suppress vulnerability, avoid seeking help, and maintain a stoic front, or risk being labeled weak,” he further explained.
In a separate disturbing revelation, a Nigerian woman shared a harrowing account involving a married woman who uncovered that her husband had secretly installed a hidden camera in their bedroom.
The woman alleged that her husband had been covertly filming their private moments without her knowledge and distributing the footage among his friends, who were reportedly engaged in similar activities, before uploading the videos to adult websites for profit.
During a podcast discussion, the witness recounted,
“A woman found out that her husband and his friends had a WhatsApp group where they would plant cameras in their homes, record intimate encounters with their wives-who were completely unaware-and then share and edit these videos within the group.”
She added,
“After editing, they would upload the clips to pornographic sites and earn money from them. The woman’s discovery came about when her child was playing with her husband’s phone.”
The woman managed to infiltrate the WhatsApp group and was shocked by the content she uncovered.
“She revealed that the married woman accessed the group and found numerous nude videos, which deeply disturbed her. Upon closer inspection, she recognized her own face in one of the recordings.”
Further investigation led her to identify around 40 explicit videos that had been meticulously edited and traced back to a pornographic website where they were being monetized.
