João Neves, the Portuguese midfielder, has been reinstated into the Paris Saint-Germain lineup for their upcoming Champions League clash on the road against Barcelona, the Ligue 1 champions announced on Tuesday.
Neves had been out of action following a hamstring injury he sustained during PSG’s dominant 4-0 victory over Atalanta in their first European fixture two weeks prior.
Another Portuguese player, Vitinha, has also been named in the squad after being taken off in the first half of PSG’s recent Ligue 1 encounter with AJ Auxerre last Saturday.
However, Georgian attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, sidelined with a thigh injury, will be absent from the squad for Wednesday’s match.
Defender Marquinhos, along with forwards Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué, are also ruled out due to injuries.
