HRM Oba Dr. Hammed Oyelude Makama, Tegbosun III, the Olowu of Kuta, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Ooni of Ife, HIM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja III, on celebrating his 51st birthday.
In a personal statement, the Olowu commended the Ooni’s unwavering dedication to strengthening and revitalizing the traditional institutions across Yorubaland.
He noted that despite challenges posed by a few dissenting individuals who focus on trivial matters, the Ooni has consistently upheld the dignity and respect of the traditional throne.
“Ooni Ogunwusi continues to receive widespread recognition and remains composed amid provocations,” the Olowu remarked. “Like a revered deity, he has made remarkable progress and stands as a paternal figure to all. Moreover, he has embraced the responsibility of guiding the nation’s youth towards a brighter future.”

“Your influential participation in the recent gathering of traditional rulers in Lagos, where you advocated for expanded roles for Kabiyesi, Obis, Offalas, Emirs, and Etsu Nupes, has been well recorded for future generations. You consistently lead efforts to elevate traditional institutions to their rightful place as the cornerstone of culture and heritage.”
“On this special occasion of your 51st birthday, Olofin Adumila, I, on behalf of my wives, the Olowu-in-council, and the people of Kuta, wish you abundant health, longevity, and success,” concluded the Olowu.
