Dr. Musa Oshodi, President of the Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF), has commended the efforts of the National Sports Commission (NSC), the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), and other key stakeholders for their instrumental role in settling the dispute within the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria.
In his statement, Dr. Oshodi highlighted the transparent and impartial manner in which the situation was handled. He noted, “Each element of the conflict was thoroughly evaluated on its individual merits, leading to a fair and balanced outcome that satisfies all parties involved.”
Additionally, Dr. Oshodi extended an apology to NSC Director-General Hon. Bukola Olopade for any previous miscommunications that may have caused confusion regarding the Judo Federation.
Looking ahead, Dr. Oshodi expressed hope that the same collaborative and solution-oriented mindset will be applied to address the challenges currently facing the Judo Federation. He emphasized the importance of strong governance and the advancement of sports in Nigeria, expressing trust in the leadership of Alhaji Shehu Dikko and Hon. Bukola Olopade to ensure a swift and equitable resolution.
