Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola, a former legislator and prominent figure within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, has officially withdrawn his membership from the party.
He conveyed this decision through a formal letter addressed to the party’s leadership in his Itesiwaju local government area on Friday.
In his letter, he stated: “I, Hosea Ayoola Agboola, having served as both a member and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party at state and national levels, am grateful for the opportunities to contribute to the party’s progress and accomplishments.”
He further explained, “You may have noticed my absence from the recent Local and State Congresses, which was due to my focus on forthcoming political ambitions that require my attention at this critical juncture.”
“Therefore, I hereby tender my resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party, effective October 10, 2025, while extending my best wishes for the party’s continued success.”
