Popular Nigerian street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has once again ignited social media uproar by revealing a private conversation between his babymama, Ashabi Simple, and an Islamic cleric.
Through an Instagram post, Portable shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp exchange involving Ashabi and Alfa Hamod Eni Nla, intensifying the ongoing drama surrounding their already strained relationship.
Within the leaked messages, Ashabi purportedly admitted to harboring romantic feelings for a man named Kenny Hussein but lamented that her marital commitments prevented her from pursuing those emotions openly.
She reportedly confided, “I love him, but I can’t be open about it because of my situation.”
Seeking spiritual advice, Ashabi turned to the cleric for prayers and guidance regarding her emotional turmoil, expressing frustration over her inability to secure a stable relationship despite being a mother of two.
Portable accompanied the post with the caption, “This life just be real, loyalty pass juju,” suggesting feelings of betrayal and disappointment directed at Ashabi Simple.
This revelation adds another complex chapter to the turbulent relationship between the ‘Zazuu Zeh’ hitmaker and Ashabi, with whom he shares two children. Their partnership has been marked by frequent public disputes, online confrontations, and dramatic makeups.
In a recently surfaced audio recording, Portable accused Ashabi of publicly disrespecting him, meddling in his personal matters, and creating tension with his other partners, including Queen Dami, the former spouse of the late Alaafin of Oyo.
He also questioned Ashabi’s motives, alleging that she became involved with him primarily because of his celebrity status.
At the time of this report, Ashabi Simple has not issued any public statement addressing the viral post or clarifying the details of the leaked WhatsApp conversation.
