Renowned Nigerian clergyman Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, widely recognized as Prophet Odumeje or Indabosky, has publicly criticized two prominent religious leaders in Nigeria, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Bishop David Oyedepo. He accused them of failing to address the harsh realities facing the nation, as many Nigerians continue to endure poverty and economic difficulties.
Prophet Odumeje, who leads the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry in Onitsha, Anambra State, expressed his disapproval in a video that quickly gained widespread attention on Monday. He lamented that instead of condemning the escalating poverty and hunger afflicting the country, influential pastors like Adeboye and Oyedepo have chosen to commend the current administration, seemingly ignoring the plight of the people.
In the viral clip, Indabosky contrasted the current silence of these senior pastors with their previous outspokenness during the tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan, when they openly criticized government policies.
“This government is the worst Nigeria has ever seen. Look at Ghana now-they openly criticize Nigerians, and their currency has become stronger than ours. We used to mock Ghana’s money, but today, their currency rivals the dollar,” he stated.

He further pointed out, “During Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, Adeboye would complain about the high fuel prices, but now, there’s complete silence.”
“These leaders should be the foremost voices condemning poor governance. Adeboye and Oyedepo must take a firm stand,” he added.
“Prices keep rising every day, yet no one speaks up anymore. It seems Nigerians have become resigned to bad governance as if it’s normal.”
Offering a solution, Prophet Odumeje urged Nigerian youths to mobilize and reclaim their nation from what he described as “businessmen masquerading as politicians.”
