Both parliaments reiterated their dedication to advancing democracy and legal frameworks, guided by international law principles, the African Union’s charter, and a shared vision to promote legal and parliamentary exchanges.
Key provisions of the MoU highlight the parties’ intention to enhance parliamentary cooperation, aiming to strengthen diplomatic and legislative relations between Algeria and Nigeria over time.
The agreement outlines plans for active collaboration through official visits, coordination among parliamentary committees, and support for development initiatives. It also includes establishing a joint platform for parliamentary capacity building, knowledge sharing, and the facilitation of various development programs.
