Ojo Olorunleke, the Nigerian international goalkeeper, was part of the Super Eagles squad that finished as runners-up at last year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Allegations have surfaced against Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke, as his wife publicly accuses him of threatening her life amid a troubling domestic dispute unfolding on Facebook, according to Soccernet.ng.
On Sunday evening, Tosin Olorunleke, spouse of the former Enyimba captain and Nigerian national team player, took to social media to seek assistance, claiming that her husband’s conduct has turned aggressive and dangerous following the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
In an extensive Facebook post, Tosin accused Olorunleke of unfaithfulness and forcibly entering her bedroom during intense arguments.

Tosin expressed that she and their children “no longer feel safe,” directly accusing her husband of menacing behavior connected to an alleged extramarital affair.
Her candid statement included:
“I believe she has bewitched my husband and is pushing him to harm me and our children. He has moved in with her, and she is urging him to divorce me and conduct DNA tests on our children. I have no issue with that, but I just want peace for me and my kids.”

According to Tosin, the turmoil in their home began after Olorunleke’s increased prominence at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, where he was Nigeria’s only home-based player and part of the squad that finished second.
She named Precious Daniel as the woman involved in the alleged affair, which she says has caused significant distress.
Tosin further accused her husband of forcibly entering her locked bedroom and immediately heading to her bed during his visits, leaving her fearful for her safety.
“Whenever my husband returns home, I end up taking my children to the hospital the next day. Today, I was outside and had locked my bedroom, but he broke the door, came in, and then left to stay with his side chick again. What does he want?”
Her post concluded with a heartfelt plea for intervention:
“I don’t understand his intentions anymore; the world needs to help me because this is spiraling out of control. Leke, please leave me alone. I have done nothing to deserve the pain you and Precious Daniels have inflicted on me and our children since last year. If anything happens to us, I am raising the alarm now-my family and loved ones should hold both Leke Olorunleke and Precious Daniels responsible. We are no longer safe.”

To date, Olorunleke has not issued any public response to these serious accusations.
At 30 years old, Olorunleke has built a respected career within Nigerian football. He began his professional journey with Giwa FC in 2013, followed by stints at Kano Pillars, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars, and Abia Warriors.
In 2021, he signed with Enyimba, where he played a pivotal role in securing the 2022-23 Nigeria Professional Football League title and was appointed team captain in August 2023.

He was a member of Nigeria’s U20 team that clinched the 2015 African U-20 Championship and earned his first senior national team call-up in 2022. His selection for the 2023 AFCON as the only player from the Nigerian Professional Football League was widely praised as a testament to the quality of home-based talent.
Off the field, Olorunleke married Tosin in 2016. Tosin has a background in football administration, having served as team manager and secretary for Confluence Queens, a women’s football club based in Lokoja.
