Eric Chelle, the head coach of the Super Eagles, has called on Nigerian supporters to rally behind the team in Uyo, while a former national player has added a spiritual dimension to the appeal, according to Soccernet.ng.

The illustrious three-time African champions face a crucial encounter against the Republic of Benin at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo this Tuesday. Although a win against Gernot Rohr’s squad is essential, Nigeria’s qualification also hinges on Rwanda securing a victory over South Africa.

Alloy Agu, who once guarded the Super Eagles’ goal and later served as their goalkeeping coach, shared his insights on the upcoming fixture, emphasizing the mindset and actions required from the players to secure success on home soil.
