Alhaji Aliyu Bello Embraces the African Democratic Congress
On this significant day, I had the privilege, as the National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), to welcome Alhaji Aliyu Bello into our political family. Aliyu brings a wealth of experience, having served twice as the State Youth Leader and once as the State Financial Secretary for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State. His formal transition to the ADC was celebrated in the presence of prominent figures such as Mallam Nasiru Elrufai, the Northwest Leader of the Coalition, alongside Mallam Jafaru Abbas, Mallam Bashir Sa’idu, Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo, and other influential members of our party. Their attendance underscores the growing appeal of the ADC as a home for principled leaders committed to reshaping Nigeria’s political landscape.
Significance Beyond a Single Defection
Alhaji Aliyu Bello’s move is emblematic of a broader shift in Nigeria’s political dynamics. When seasoned leaders with a track record of service choose the ADC, it signals a collective endorsement of our party as the genuine alternative Nigerians have long awaited. Our vision transcends mere rhetoric; we are cultivating a vibrant movement that unites experienced veterans and energetic youth alike, all dedicated to forging a Nigeria that delivers equitable opportunities and prosperity for every citizen.
Empowering Youth and Strengthening Our Movement
To Alhaji Aliyu Bello, I extend my deepest gratitude for his courageous decision and for orchestrating such a remarkable event. His inclusion bolsters our ranks and inspires countless young Nigerians seeking meaningful political engagement and leadership. Together, we are advancing a new chapter in Nigerian politics. The ADC is poised to rise and shine-not as an empty slogan, but as a tangible force driven by committed individuals like Aliyu Bello.
