TS Academy (Tech Sphere Academy) has proudly distributed scholarships valued at over ₦1 billion to 3,000 aspiring Africans, marking a significant milestone in its mission to broaden access to digital and technology education across the continent.
This scholarship program is a core part of TS Academy’s commitment to fostering inclusivity within the tech sector by opening doors for Africans to launch and advance their careers in technology. Recipients will engage in in-depth training across diverse fields such as Artificial Intelligence & Automation, DevOps Engineering, Software Development, Product Design, Cybersecurity, Project Management, and Data Analytics, with courses set to commence shortly.
Beyond traditional instruction, each scholarship package includes mentorship opportunities, essential learning equipment like laptops, and direct connections to employment through TS Academy’s expanding network of tech communities and recruitment partners.
Adetola Durojaiye, the founder of TS Academy, shared insights on the scholarship launch:
“Many talented Africans possess the passion and potential but lack the necessary resources, guidance, or access to kickstart their tech journeys. This scholarship aims to close that divide by providing equitable opportunities to learn, develop, and connect with career prospects.”

Since its inception, TS Academy has attracted applicants from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. The curriculum is carefully crafted to combine experiential learning with real-world industry insights. Participants will benefit from expert-led instruction and hands-on projects designed to equip them for immediate entry into the workforce.
“The biggest hurdle for many aspiring tech professionals is access-whether it’s to devices, quality education, or career guidance. We’re addressing these challenges by providing laptops for seamless learning and linking students with mentors and job opportunities,” Durojaiye explained.
TS Academy’s vision extends beyond training; it is cultivating a supportive ecosystem that nurtures learners well after course completion. This includes peer networks, ongoing mentorship, and job placement programs aimed at facilitating smooth transitions into permanent tech roles.
For numerous scholarship recipients, this opportunity represents a transformative turning point. Moyin Opaniyan, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his excitement:
“I’ve always dreamed of becoming a software developer but couldn’t afford the training. This scholarship is my gateway to starting a tech career and reshaping my future.”
With Africa’s digital economy expected to generate over 230 million jobs by 2030, TS Academy’s initiatives align with continental efforts to bridge the skills gap and prepare Africans for global tech opportunities.
“Our mission is to ready Africans for tomorrow’s tech roles. Technology should be accessible to all, and with the right support, anyone can build a rewarding career in this field,” Durojaiye emphasized.

Applications for the upcoming scholarship cycle are now open and can be submitted via www.tsacademyonline.com.
