Prominent Yoruba nation advocate, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, widely recognized as Sunday Igboho, recently paid a visit to the newly crowned Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.
The meeting took place at the monarch’s private residence in Bodija, situated in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
Details shared on the Facebook page of Igboho’s media representative, Koiki Media, revealed that the activist honored the 44th Olubadan with a respectful visit on Monday, September 29, 2025.
“On Monday, September 29, 2025, Yoruba nation advocate Dr. Chief Sunday Adeyemo, known as Igboho, paid a respectful courtesy call to his esteemed father, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, at his Bodija home in Ibadan, celebrating the monarch’s recent ascension as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland,” the post stated.
It is noteworthy that Igboho has publicly referred to Oba Ladoja as his father on several occasions.
The purpose of the visit was to express joy and support for Oba Ladoja’s successful enthronement as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland.
